I'm not the fan boy I used to be, but I'm pretty stoked about Google's new App Inventor. A retired software engineer told me about the effect that Apple's Hypercard had in its day, and how it got everyone and their Grandma making small stacks (or apps) to make life better.

That's going to happen for the mobile phone now - well, at least it's a good step closer now than ever.

This is huge, huge news.
